    Rövid leírás:
    The Biosimilars Resource Centre is an educational portal that helps healthcare professionals develop their knowledge of biosimilars through e-Learning modules and curated peer-reviewed content. By providing three UEMS-EACCME-accredited e-Learning modules and the latest research, hand-picked by editors, the Resource Centre aims to disseminate knowledge on biosimilars for health care professionals (both physicians and pharmacists). This freely available resource is developed by Elsevier in collaboration with Excerpta Medica and hosted by the journal New Horizons in Translational Medicine. All content is developed independently and is peer-reviewed by the Biosimilar Resource Centre’s Editorial Board.

    The Biosimilar Resource Center: Professor Aamir Shahzad, the Editor in Chief, has initially selected 6 articles, which are freely available as full text articles. On a monthly basis the Editor in Chief will select articles for the Resource Centre. Additionally, he will provide commentaries to accompany the content.

    E-Learning modules – 1st module planned to be ready by April 2016.

    Three expert Guest Editors act as independent expert reviewers and curate the content of the three e-Learning modules. With downloadable (teacher) slide decks and new peer-reviewed content added every month, learners will have up-to-date knowledge of the subject. Each e-Learning module takes 45 minutes to complete and is worth 1 UEMS-EACCME credit. Here are the different modules:

    1: Putting the “bio” in “biotherapeutics”: differentiating between generics and biosimilars;

    2: Checkpoints for biosimilars: insights into the regulatory framework;

    3: Application of biosimilars: key considerations for healthcare professionals
